Is Halloween: The Game on Xbox?
Yes. The digital version is confirmed for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The general digital launch is scheduled for September 8, 2026, while Digital Deluxe owners receive the announced September 4 early-access window.
The official listings name current-generation Xbox hardware only. Xbox One is not included in the platform list, and backward compatibility does not make a Series X|S game playable on older hardware.

Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe work on Series X|S. The boxed editions are labeled for Xbox Series X because Series S consoles do not have a disc drive.
Digital vs. physical on Xbox
- Choose digital to play on Series S or to access the game before the October physical release.
- Digital Deluxe includes the Inmate Michael skin, Richard and Alexis, and its early-access window.
- Physical Standard includes the game disc, poster, Clown Michael advance unlock, and two Civilian cosmetics.
- The physical Collector's Edition adds Samhain Michael, two more Civilian cosmetics, a Shape Jump figure, lenticular art, and other announced items.
Xbox crossplay and progression
Crossplay is confirmed across Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam, and Epic Games Store, so Xbox players can enter the same multiplayer pool as friends on the other available platforms.
Cross-progression is separate and was not planned in the developer Q&A. Choose a primary platform on the assumption that levels, cosmetics, purchases, and story progress will remain on that platform.
